The Grand Hacienda is a luxury property for total relaxation. Every guest reservation is very special to us. We strive to make every stay truly memorable, which you will see in our attention to detail.
Check-in is anytime after 3pm. Check-out is anytime before 11am on your day of departure.
A two-night minimum stay is required for all weekend stays (Fridays and Saturdays must be booked together). An exception to the minimum stay requirement may be made upon request if you contact us at 575.425.0663 within 48 hours of arrival and if rooms are available.
This is an adults-only (age 17 and older) property. If you are traveling with children, we recommend staying in one of our Abiquiú vacation home rentals which are perfectly situated for family vacations.
We are sorry, the property is not set up to accommodate pets.
There is no parking for boats or RVs.
Only people listed on the rental agreement are allowed on the property.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION FLEXIBILITY
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we have instituted the following changes to our cancellation policies for those guests who booked directly with us. If you booked through a third party (VRBO, AirBNB, Expedia, Booking, etc.) you must adhere to their published cancellation policies – we apologize for this but we are only able to provide cancellation flexibility for reservations made through us directly.
For reservations made before March 16, 2020:
Your reservation may be changed or canceled at no charge up to 5 days before your scheduled arrival, and your refund will be in the form of your original payment for reservations through August, 2020, or a cancellation gift certificate for reservations beginning September, 2020.
For reservations made after March 16, 2020:
Reservations for stays through November 1, 2020 may be changed up to 30 days before your scheduled arrival, and your refund will be in the form of a gift certificate.
Cancellation gift certificates can be used without restrictions for future stays at any of our properties and expire in 12 months. Cancellation gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash or gifted to another party.
If you have concerns about traveling, we recommend you purchase Cancel For Any Reason trip insurance, available at check-out from a third-party provider.
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
The Grand Hacienda is a small boutique bed & breakfast. Therefore, we are significantly affected by cancellations and must adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Although we understand situations arise making cancellations unavoidable, we do not take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to delayed arrivals, early departures, inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, medical or family emergencies, work conflicts, missed or cancelled flights, pandemics, force majeure, etc. We highly encourage guests to consider purchasing trip insurance in the event an emergency arises that impedes your travel plans. We offer a Cancel for Any Reason insurance through a third party at checkout. Guests who fail to show up for their reservation will be charged automatically for the entire stay without further notification.
Please note that no refunds are provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations.
The homeowner will provide a cancellation refund as follows:
There is a 10% of booking charges cancellation fee for all cancellations, used to offset processing fees for the booking
Early cancellations (greater than 60 days before Check-In): 75% of rental amount refunded less a 10% fee to cover processing.
Late cancellations: No refunds can be given for cancellations 60 days prior to your Check-In date. We will attempt to re-book your dates, and if we are able to do so at full price, we will refund your payments minus the 10% cancellation fee
