Our Stunning Location

The Grand Hacienda is located at 5 Los Ojos Drive, Abiquiú Lake, in northern New Mexico, situated north of Santa Fe and Los Alamos, and east of Taos. Perched on a mesa top overlooking beautiful Abiquiú Lake, directly across the lake from Ghost Ranch and the red cliffs of Abiquiú, the Hacienda views are spectacular.  

 

You won't find crowds, Georgia O'Keeffe tour busses, traffic, street lights, or pink flamingos out here. You will just have beauty, stillness, quiet, and an absence of both noise and light pollution. We share this special land with eagles, owls, ravens, prairie dogs, and the occasional free-roaming horse. This land was once occupied by Tewa Puebloan ancestors and Navajo Native Americans.  Evidence of their lives here still exists, and you may find arrowheads or scrapers as you hike the property.

Directions and gate codes are emailed to registered guests about four weeks before their stay, along with information on local activities and events.

 

We are about 20 minutes outside of the village of Abiquiú and about an hour from Santa Fe or Taos.
